Despite a loss to in-state rival Indiana, Purdue remains No. 1 team in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll released Monday.

It was the third straight week atop the poll for the Boilermakers (22-2), who were a unanimous pick last week but received 38 of 62 first-place votes this week. Entering the poll for the first time since 2019 was No. 22 North Carolina State (19-5), which has not made the NCAA Tournament since 2018.
