Texas standout post player Charli Collier announced Sunday that she will bypass her senior season to enter the WNBA draft.
The 6-foot-5 Collier is projected to be selected at the top of the draft, likely No. 1 overall.
"After long consideration, thought and prayer, I've decided to fulfill my lifelong dream and declare for the 2021 WNBA draft," Collier said in her announcement on Twitter.
Collier is averaging 20.9 points and 12.2 rebounds in 25 games this season. She has 17 double-doubles. Collier scored a career-best 44 points in an early season game against North Texas.
Collier will finish the season with the Longhorns (17-8), who are currently projected as a No. 7 seed in the upcoming NCAA women's tournament by ESPN.
Collier said she will graduate from Texas this spring.
The Dallas Wings own the top two picks in this year's draft.
