Marcus Morris Sr. and guard Patrick Patterson's time with the Los Angeles Clippers has been extended after the forwards signed free-agent deals on Wednesday, the team announced.

Morris' contract is for four years and $64 million, while Patterson's deal is reportedly for a year and terms weren't disclosed, but it is believed to be for the league minimum, according to ESPN.

Morris was acquired by the Clippers from the New York Knicks in February and played 19 regular-season games with his new team. He added 13 more games in the playoffs when Los Angeles was eliminated by the Denver Nuggets after a collapse in the Western Conference semifinals. Morris, 31, averaged 10.1 points with 4.1 rebounds in regular-season action with the Clippers and 16.7 points with 5.0 rebounds in 62 games with the Knicks and Clippers in 2019-20.

In the playoffs, Morris averaged 11.8 points and shot 47.5 percent from 3-point range. In nine career seasons with the Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Knicks and Clippers, he has averaged 12.2 points with 4.7 rebounds in 607 games. Morris was acquired by Los Angeles last season in a three-team deadline deal that also included the Washington Wizards.

"We are delighted that Marcus has chosen to continue his career with the Clippers," Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank said. "We obviously depend on his scoring, shooting ability, and defensive versatility. With his experience, toughness, and team-first approach, we will look to him as a leader as well."

Patterson averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds while connecting on 39 percent of his three-point attempts in 59 games for the Clippers last season. Patterson, 31, has averaged 6.7 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 44.8 percent in 10 NBA seasons with the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Clippers.
