Nashville SC look to extend their home unbeaten streak to five matches when they face the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.

The expansion Nashville SC (4-5-3, 15 points) are coming off a 1-0 victory against D.C. United on Wednesday and reside in ninth place in the Eastern Conference.

"It's a feeling of confidence," Nashville SC forward Daniel Rios said. "We are looking for the three points to scale the standings. We want to be in the playoffs so we need to win as many games as we can."

Houston (3-4-6, 15 points) has fallen to 11th in the Western Conference amid a four-game winless (0-2-2) stretch after winning the previous three matches.

The Dynamo will be smarting after a 4-0 loss at the Chicago Fire on Wednesday.

"The bad part is that we have a game in three days, and the good part is that we have a game in three days," Houston coach Tab Ramos said after the match. "We have to put this one away and think about the whole season. This is just one day and not a conference game. We have to put it away and focus on the next one because we need the three points on Saturday."

Nashville's strength is a defense, which has allowed 13 goals in 12 matches.

"While Houston is extremely effective with some wonderful frontline players, we've shown here that we're very, very capable," Nashville coach Gary Smith said.

Nashville SC own a 3-1-1 record at home, with the sole loss a 2-1 decision to Atlanta on Feb. 29.

"The guys have done a wonderful job of setting a good tempo without any fans, that momentum that can bring, and I do believe they are growing in confidence day by day," Smith said. "You've got teams coming in that in one way, shape or form have terrific talent, creative individuals, top goal scorers. You're looking at top class players, so there's no easy games here."
