FC Dallas signed 19-year-old defender Bryan Reynolds to a contract extension through 2024 with a team option for 2025, the club announced Wednesday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
"Bryan Reynolds has flourished whenever he has gotten an opportunity," team president Dan Hunt said in a club statement. "He has a bright future and we're thrilled that he'll continue to grow with us at FC Dallas and at the national team level."
Reynolds, who signed a Homegrown contract with Dallas at age 15, has played in 16 career MLS games (five starts) and has two assists.
"I'm excited to continue my career with the club and look forward to helping create championship moments for our fans to celebrate," Reynolds said in the news release.
He has started four of his six matches in 2020 and is poised for a larger role with the transfer of Reggie Cannon to Portugal's Boavista earlier this month.
