California homes being snapped up
Houston News.Net Tuesday 19th August, 2008
Californian home buyers have driven sales up more than 12 percent from July 2007, resulting in the biggest jump in sales in four years.
The surge in volume sales has been welcomed by real estate agents in the state's beleaguered housing market, which remains overblown with the nation's highest number of foreclosed homes.
According to local agents, it is the mid-level property which is attracting the positive buyer.
Pricier homes are continuing to languish on the market.
